spotlight_2My name is Nishaantini Yoogan. I’m currently pursuing the Canadian Pre-University program, grade 11 at President College, Malaysia.  I’ve got to admit that I have had a delightful journey throughout my course. I have so far completed my courses on Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Functions.

To be frank, at first, I was aimless in making an appropriate decision on my future education as I was never from a science background. However, I always had the passion for science. That point of my life didn’t last further till my Dad contacted Mr. Carl Boodram, the director of research EDU India and CPU coordinator who encouraged me to pursue this program. As many others out there, I was initially cynical about it. But hey, this has so far been one of the best life changing decision I’ve ever made. Even though at times I was being a pessimist about my competence on finishing this course, my family never doubted me.  They inspired me to believe in myself and that’s how I gained confidence in myself.

The guidance through the online teachers was kind, helpful and accommodating throughout my course. My preferred subject would definitely be biology. Ever since a young girl, I was always fascinated with living organisms and how they work. It always enthralls me more to learn about the diversity of organisms living on Earth.  Apart from spending most of my time on studies, I also enjoy dancing and swimming. In the future, I aspire to become a dermatologist.

I would like to take this juncture to thank Mr. Carl Boodram and the teachers of President college for their constant care, guidance and follow up throughout the program.

Thank you and have a pleasant day.
